RESUME ON A COMPUTER--DEMO!
Robert E. Curry
391 Highland, Pasadena, CA 91104
Copyright 1987, all rights reserved
Objective: Make the preparation of a good resume simple and
affordable. And you'll like this demo so much,
share it with everybody, send a $25 check for a
complete program that will also print a quality
layout of your resume, find some nice work--and
on top of all that, receive a $3 check in
appreciation to you as a purchaser for every
other purchased copy that credits you as the
recommender and gives your name and address.
What's It Do: --Tells how to write a good resume, calling upon
the best advice available.
--Coaches you through 8 available sections.
Names are suggested, but name them Tom, Dick
and Henrietta if you wish--if you wish to stay
unemployed! You choose which sections to type
and in what order.
--Edit with ease--within section, between
sections--whenever you please!
--Saves resume on disk for easy updating. No
need to retype just because you, horrors!,
find a typo or change your phone number. How
easy to slant multiple resumes toward
different work objectives!
--Checks length of entries. Counts lines.
Advises if typed too much or not enough.
--Prepares quality layout ($25 program, not
this demo). So no need for a graphics artist!
You decide which sections to print and in
which order.
How Easy: The work starts after the program! Requires no
manual--really! Just 1) MAKE SURE all 6 RESUME
files and any resumes being updated are on the
same drive, and log onto that drive; 2) Type
BASIC RESUME (ENTER) for IBM or MBASIC RESUME
(RETURN) for CP/M; and 3) Follow screen prompts
till your resume is in hand! To save it on disk
MAKE SURE you complete sections 11 or 12 of the
menu. Naturally, it is wise to make backup
copies of the program and any resumes made.
Hard & Software: MS-DOS or CP/M computer with Microsoft Basic.
Tested on IBM PC and XT and on TeleVideo 802H
and 803.
References: This is it! Try it ... buy it ... and recommend!
